Early morning fire destroys bar
COOKS — The Sidetracks Bar and Restaurant is considered to be a total loss after a fire raged through the building early Tuesday morning.
Inwood Township Volunteer Fire Department Fire Chief Matt Silkworth tells ABC 10 that the fire was called in about 4:15 a.m. Silkworth believes that the fire started in the kitchen area.
The fire is still under investigation, but Silkworth said that arson is not suspected at this time. The Garden Township Fire Department, Hiawatha Township Fire Department, Manistique Public Safety, and the Michigan State Police Gladstone Post assisted at the scene.
No one was injured in the fire.
