MARQUETTE — Two people arrested back in October in Forsyth Township on drug charges appeared in Marquette County Circuit Court.
Brittany Anders, 26 of Gwinn, was sentenced today in Marquette County Circuit Court to 18 months probation and nine months in jail with credit for time served. Five months of her jail time will be served up front.
Anders also sought out treatment and recovery options before her sentencing, so the court agreed to grant her early release to the verified treatment center once a bed is made available for her. Anders pleaded guilty last week to three counts of purchase or possession of Pseudoephedrine for the purpose of manufacturing meth.
Later on in circuit court, Anders’ co–defendant, Corey Racine, 26, also of Gwinn, pleaded guilty to two meth counts. Racine was originally charged with one count of delivery of meth and two counts of conspiracy to deliver meth.
He will be sentenced by Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi on March 18th.
