Duke LifePoint chooses new location for Marquette General Hospital
Marquette General Hospital’s new location appears to be staying in the city of Marquette.
According to a Memorandum of Understanding between Duke LifePoint Healthcare and the Marquette City Commission, Duke LifePoint wants to construct the new hospital on the Roundhouse Property.
The property is located on 37 acres of land south of Washington Street, west of Seventh Street and North of U.S. 41. Duke LifePoint is looking to purchase the property for $4 million.
The Marquette City Commission will discuss the proposal at a special meeting Monday at 4 p.m.
