Drug bust defendant fails to appear in court

A defendant in an Iron River UPSET drug bust failed to appear in court.

After failing to appear at his pretrial conference in Iron County Circuit Court, there is a warrant out for the arrest of 28-year-old Michael Walsh.

This is the second time Walsh has failed to appear for a court date; he failed to appear at a previous pretrial conference in July.

Walsh and five others were arrested by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team in May at a home in Iron River where authorities seized heroin, marijuana, and other illegal drugs.
