Downstate man involved in Powell Township crash could see jail time

A downstate man involved in a Powell Township personal injury crash over the weekend has been arraigned on drunk driving charges.

Christopher Allen Lyle, 60, of Midland is charged with operating a vehicle with a BAC higher than .17, a crime punishable by up to six months in jail.

Lyle was the lone occupant in an accident on County Road KK Sunday afternoon, during which he drove off the roadway striking several trees. He was then transported to Marquette General Hospital and later released into the custody of the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office.

Lyle is due back in Marquette County District Court on May 15th for a pretrial hearing.
