Dickinson Co. soldier sends online greeting
A soldier deployed halfway around the world has sent a video greeting to friends and loved ones in the southern U.P.
DVIDS is the Defense Video and Imagery Distribution System.
It has a hometown shout-out on it from an Army sergeant from Dickinson County, currently deployed in Afghanistan.
The U.S. Army claims that DVIDS connects the military to the world.
