UPDATE — We have an update on a story that we first brought you last night at this hour. Aspen Dental has released a statement to ABC 10 about its ongoing closure for repairs.

Officials say during the winter, some snow plowing done up the road from the dentist office dislodged a piece of concrete that ended up in the sewer system, which caused a backup into the office.

Officials immediately closed the facility and are scheduled to re–open the dentist office on July 25th.

If you are a patient at Aspen Dental, you contact the office at (906) 629-1465 to reschedule your appointment.

MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A dentist office that opened up for business just over six months ago is currently closed for repairs.

According to a representative with Aspen Dental, the Marquette Township office has been temporarily shut down due to flooding and water damage in the building.

Officials are currently working on cleaning and sterilizing the building.

The staff at Aspen Dental is working with patients on rescheduling and apologizes for any inconvenience.

Aspen Dental is set to re–open on July 8th.
