Deli Meat Recall Misses U.P.

It seems as if consumers keep getting hit with recalls.

This time it’s deli meat.

Zemco Industries in Buffalo, New York has issued a nationwide voluntary recall of about 380,000 pounds of deli meat.

It may be contaminated with bacteria that can cause a potentially fatal disease.

The meat recall involves a variety of Marketside grab and go sandwich meats.

The products were distributed to Wal-Mart stores nationwide.

But Wal-Mart officials tell us none of the meat was distributed to any of their stores in the U.P.
