December Court Date for Murder Suspect

The Bessemer man accused of murdering his elderly wife will have to return to court in December.

50–year–old Kenneth Peters was scheduled for arraignment in Gogebic County Circuit Court today, but he waived his right to an arraignment.

His next appearance is an all–purpose hearing on December 4th.

Peters is accused of killing his wife, 79-year-old Ethel Grzena-Peters.

Ethel went missing in early August and her body was found about ten days later.

Police arrested Kenneth Peters on August 22nd.

He’s charged with first–degree murder, second–degree murder and second–degree vulnerable adult abuse.

Peters is being held in the Gogebic County Jail without bond.
