Parents and students are getting ready for the start of a new school year next week. Part of those preparations include making sure children of all ages are up to date on all immunizations.
The Marquette County Health Department is holding a back to school immunization clinic to get kids ready for the first day of school. The main focus of today’s clinic is getting school aged children protected from vaccine preventable disease.
The clinic offers all immunizations that are required by the state of michigan. And additional shots that are not required, but are highly recommended by the health department. The clinic has extended hours today only, until 7 p.m..
