Copper Dog 150 Preparations
Preparations for the Copper Dog 150 continue in Houghton County.
The race is still three weeks away, but there’s plenty to do.
The sled dog teams are going to need a place to start in Calumet.
But the giant starting gate is under construction.
When the race begins on March 2nd, the gate will be brought in by truck.
Afterwards, it will be taken down and stored in a warehouse until next year.
