Conditions improve for Ironwood man who drank antifreeze
No criminal charges have been filed yet against a man drank who drank antifreeze and attempted to burn down his home earlier this month in Ironwood.
The man’s girlfriend told Ironwood Public Safety that his condition has generally improved, and there does not appear to be any long-term effects after receiving two doses of kidney dialysis. A police report has been sent to the Gogebic County Prosecutor, but there is no word if any criminal charges will be filed.
The man allegedly poured gasoline throughout his home and barricaded himself in a bedroom. A SWAT team entered the home where he was taken into custody and transported to the hospital.
His name has not yet been released.
