CRYSTAL FALLS — The giving season is on its way, and a facility in Crystal Falls is looking for a few generous givers to help build something new for its residents.

The Iron County Medical Care Facility Foundation is raising funds to build a new pavilion to help facility residents better enjoy the outdoors. The foundation is selling personalized bricks to lay along the walkway to the structure — and offering donors a chance to get their names placed on the Foundation Tree of Giving — in order to raise part of the $135,000 needed for construction.

“The idea is to complement our environment inside by having something equally as exciting outside,” said Facility Administrator Chester Pintarelli. “We would like to see construction begin in the spring of 2016, so we would like to get our funds raised as much as we can by the end of the year. Hopefully people will buy bricks for Christmas gifts and other purposes and consider donating to the Tree of Giving.”
