Come out and celebrate Wine Wednesdays

One Marquette event is perfect for people looking for night out with a chance to do a little shopping.

Wine Wednesdays is an informal get together the first Wednesday of the month at the Ramada Inn in Marquette.  It is a way to meet new people, grab dinner or drinks with friends, and shop.

There are representatives from three different stores: Party Lite, Miche bags and Tastefully Simple.  People can look at new products and buy items for sale.

One unique part of Wine Wednesdays is a quarter auction that gives guests a chance to win prizes.  A portion of the money raised in the auction goes to charities around Marquette County, like Big Brothers Big Sisters and Teaching Family Homes.

There is also a larger event every third Monday of the month at the Holiday Inn on U.S. 41.
