Essential Chiropractic in Marquette will be closed tomorrow, November 12.

Lakeshore Blvd. will be closed to through traffic, between Hawley St. and Fair Ave., due to inclement weather. Wright St. will be closed to through traffic, between Lakeshore Blvd. and Presque Isle Ave., and Pine St. will be closed to through traffic from Fair Ave. to Lakeshore Blvd. All street closures will remain in effect until further notice.
Waste Management in the city of Marquette will continue curbside/recyclable collections as scheduled. They are asking people to refrain from placing refuse/recyclables out until 7:00 p.m. tonight due to the heavy snow fall. Please place containers at the end of the driveway to allow the crews visibility of the containers.
The Sands Township office is closed today. The Board meeting scheduled for tonight (Tuesday) has been postponed until next Tuesday, the 18th.
River Valley Bank in Marquette is closing at 1 p.m.
The City of Marquette household rubbish drop-off site, located off of Wright St. between Presque Isle Ave. and Lakeshore Blvd., will be closed today due to inclement weather. Reopening of the site will occur in the spring of 2015, weather permitting.
The following Marq-Tran buses are cancelled: Ishpeming Shopper Shuttle, Marquette Shopper Bus, and the Negaunee Shuttle. The Forsyth Feeder bus will resume at 4 p.m.
This morning’s memorial service at the Ishpeming VFW is cancelled. Bingo tonight at the VFW is also cancelled.
All Marquette County & Meals on Wheels and Congregate sites are closed due to road conditions today. Please call 228-6522 with any questions or concerns.

Picnic Rock Parking Lot in Marquette at the intersection of Fair Avenue and Lakeshore Boulevard will be closed until further notice due to inclement weather.
Bagged leaf collection in Marquette will be suspended due to inclement weather. Notification will be sent out when collection will resume.
Park Cemetery in Marquette will be closed until further notice due to inclement weather.
