Cihak to Step Down
In Marquette County, the board will soon have a new member.
Vice chair Jim Cihak will be stepping down after 11 years of service.
Cihak will be leaving the area to handle family matters.
Of the many things the board has accomplished a few stick out in his mind.
After Cihak files his resignation papers the board has 30 days to fill his seat.
But if the seat is not filled in that time, a special election would have to be held.
