Choc. Twp. Lions Easter egg hunt
Easter may be this Sunday, but the Easter Bunny is coming to Chocolay Township a day early.
The Chocolay Township Lions Club is hosting its 12th annual Easter Egg hunt at Silver Creek Church in Harvey.
It’s this Saturday from 11 am until noon.
There will be 5,000 eggs to find and 500 bags for the kids to use to collect them.
The large amount of late-season snow won’t even pose a problem.
A snowmobile club has volunteered to pack down all of the snow so that the kids will have an easy time walking around on it.
Silver Creek Church and businesses from throughout Marquette County contribute to the easter egg hunt each year.
