Chiropractor’s license suspended by state

A Munising chiropractor’s license to practice in Michigan has been suspended following criminal sexual conduct convictions.

George Young was recently convicted in Alger County Circuit Court of seven counts of fourth-degree CSC. The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs has suspended his license as a result of the guilty verdict.

The charges came from allegations of Young inappropriately touching several female patients during his work as a chiropractor at HealthQuest in Munising. His sentencing is scheduled for December 16th.

The Michigan Public Health Code requires the licenses of health professionals to be suspended if they’re convicted of a felony.
