Chippewa Co. meth defendant sentenced
A Chippewa County man will spend three to 20 years in prison on charges related to a meth bust last fall.
Twenty-four-year-old Joshua Sheber of Kincheloe has been sentenced on two counts of operating a meth lab and one count of methamphetamine possession.
The Straits Area Narcotics Team carried out the meth lab bust last September at a home on Red Cedar Street in Kincheloe.
The Michigan Department of Human Services also removed a young child from the home.
Two other people were also arrested in the raid.
They are 28-year-old Brian Smallman and 23-year-old Angela Smallman, both of Kincheloe.
They’re both scheduled for sentencing next Tuesday, April 9th, in Chippewa County Circuit Court.
