Changes to Sault Bridge Authority

A Marquette County man is now a part of the Sault Ste. Marie Bridge Authority.

Governor Rick Snyder named Marquette resident Stu Bradley and three others to the group today.

Bradley is also a Marquette native.

He’s chairman and CEO of MI Upper Hand, Inc., a regional economic development organization.

Earlier in life, he served 26 years in the U.S. Air Force.

Bradley also spent 8 years on the Marquette City Commission, with one term as mayor, before being recalled from office.

The others named to the board are from the Soo and Petoskey.

The Sault Ste. Marie Bridge Authority was established 11 years ago.

It’s a joint organization between the U.S. and Canada to manage the Sault International Bridge.
