Celebrating reading at Superior Hills Elem.

Learning how to read and write are essential parts of elementary education.  The two subjects have also been the theme during the month of March for students at Superior Hills Elementary School in Marquette.

Students had a variety of challenges to meet throughout the month.  They focused on reading everything from Dr. Seuss books to writing newspaper articles.  And today, the students and faculty shared in the success of completing their goals.

Along with everyday curriculum, the school has been singling out two subjects to emphasis each month.

The school uses programs like this to get the entire student body involved and make the school feel like a small community.
