If there are any kids who want an excuse to get dressed up like prince, princess, or a knight, the Lake Superior Youth Theatre’s Superior Royal Ball could be the perfect option.

The Graveraet Gym will be transformed into a castle with activities for kids of all ages Saturday night.

There will be entertainment, food, a chance to take photos, and meet all the royal kings and queens in Marquette.

“What I’m looking most forward to is seeing the dances, some people will be doing a few routines,” eleven-year-old Emma Bradley said.  “(I’m also looking forward) to the food and desserts.”

“(People) can dress up, have fun, eat cupcakes, and meet the knights, eight-year-old Easton said.

The Royal Ball starts at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.  You can buy tickets for $10 at Everyday Wines, or $13 at the door.  Children in 3rd grade and younger require an adult or teen chaperone.

All proceeds from the event go to the Lake Superior Youth Theatre.
