Carpenter murder trial moves to jury

 

Jury deliberations will begin Wednesday morning when court resumes at 9 a.m. in the Jack Carpenter murder trial.

The jurors deliberated from about 12:30 p.m. to just before 6:00 p.m. and were then dismissed for the evening.

Carpenter is on trial in Marquette County Circuit Court for the fatal shooting of David Meyer Jr. at a home where the two men lived in Ishpeming in June 2012.

The jury is composed of ten men and 2 women.
