Car-vs.-Pedestrian Accident
The investigation continues into a weekend car-pedestrian accident in Marquette.
It happened shortly after 1am Saturday at the intersection of North Third and Crescent Streets.
An 18-year-old from Marquette was driving a Dodge Neon south on North Third when he hit a man crossing the street near the intersection.
The 35-year-old Marquette man sustained injuries to his head and the right side of his body.
He was admitted to Marquette General.
Police say they do not believe alcohol to be a factor with the driver.
The accident is still under investigation.
