Calumet woman to spend up to 14 years in prison

A Calumet woman will be spending up to 14 years in prison on multiple uttering and publishing charges.

Christina Stark, 32, was sentenced in Houghton County Circuit Court 18 months to 14 years on four counts of uttering and publishing.  On one count of financial transaction device, illegal sale or use, Stark was sentenced to a minimum of 18 months to a maximum of 48 months.

Both sentences will run concurrently.

Stark was given credit for 219 days in jail.
