Brookridge Heights Helping Co-Worker

Employees of a Marquette County senior assisted living and memory care center are helping a co–worker who lost all her possessions in a recent house fire.

And they’d like your help as well.

No one was hurt in the house fire on County Road in Negaunee last Tuesday, but a woman living in the home lost everything she owned.

Liz Laforest works at Brookridge Heights in Marquette, so co–workers are trying to help her and her two daughters.

Brookridge Heights executive director Joseph LeBlanc says employees are giving her family some of the items that it needs, but they’re looking for donations of clothing items, gift cards and some other things.

You can call Brookridge Heights in Marquette at 225-4488 to find out about specific items that the Laforest family could use.

They’ll receive the donated items this weekend on Easter Sunday.
