Break-in victim offers $1,000 reward for credible information

One of the many victims in a recent rash of break-ins in the Kenton area of Houghton County is offering a $1,000 reward for credible information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved.

Paul Jarski’s camp is just one of 15 to 20 camps to be broken into during the month of June. Police say a number of large items, ranging from 4-wheelers to lawn equipment, have been taken during the spree.

Jarski, who is not affiliated with the Michigan State Police, will directly handle the reward money. His contact information will be provided if credible information is received.

Anybody that can provide information that leads to an arrest and conviction is asked to contact Trooper Cleary or Trooper Butler at the Calumet Post of the Michigan State Police at 906-337-5145.

All tips will remain anonymous at the caller’s request.
