Benson makes Houghton stop Friday
Former Secretary of State candidate Jocelyn Benson will be meeting with concerned citizens today at the Keweenaw Brewing Company in Downtown Houghton.
Benson will be available to greet the public at lunch and she says she is interested in hearing what citizens of Houghton County have to say.
Benson is an author and law professor at Wayne State University and is currently working with a group called Engage Michigan to gather voters across the state to empower them in the political process.
Today’s event is free and open to anyone of voting age.
