Benishek Running for Re-Election
The U.P.’s voice in Congress is only a little more than halfway through his first term.
But Congressman Dan Benishek is kicking off his re–election campaign today.
Before Benishek was elected to Congress in 2010, he had been a surgeon at Dickinson County Healthcare System, so he started his campaign on the hospital campus this afternoon.
Benishek is visiting the Lower Peninsula tomorrow to deliver the same message.
He’ll travel through 14 of the counties in the congressional district by the end of this week.
