Decadent cupcakes, delicious brownies, tasty breads and spectacular cakes lined the atrium of the Peninsula Medical Center in Marquette today for a bake sale to benefit Beacon House.
Beacon House development director Mary Dowling says many area bakeries donated various baked goods that they prepared for the occasion.
As part of the bake sale, there was a silent auction.
local bakeries and florists donated special cakes and floral arrangements for the auction as well.
All proceeds from the bake sale go directly to Beacon House, which provides a home away from home for people that need to travel long distances to the Marquette area for medical treatment.
