UPDATE: Brad Austin to coach Hematites
UPDATE: Ishpeming High School released a statement this morning saying that girls varsity basketball coach Tom Graves has left the position to devote more time to non-coaching responsibilities. Brad Austin, the girls varsity assistant coach, has been named the interim head coach for the remainder of the season.
Ishpeming plays at Gladstone tonight.

ISHPEMING – ABC 10 Sports learned Monday night that Ishpeming girls varsity basketball coach Tom Graves is out as the team’s coach for the time being.
A source told ABC 10 Sports that Graves has been placed on administrative leave for the remainder of the season. Ishpeming school officials would not comment further on the situation.
School officials did say that Chris Magnuson, the Ishpeming girls’ junior varsity basketball coach, will coach the Hematites Tuesday night when they play at Gladstone.
ABC 10 Sports attempted to contact Graves Monday night, but to no avail. Through fourteen games this season, the Hematites have a 12-2 record.
