Baraga County’s Spurr Township has renewed a millage for fire-fighting and first responder services is up for renewal. 62 voters said yes, 37 said no to the renewal of 2.5 mills per year, for 5 years.

Delta County had quite a few races to vote on. Most of them are uncontested.

… Two seats on the Escanaba City Council were at stake. Ronald Beauchamp (611), and Brady Nelson (583) beat out Tony Ruiz (452) for the positions.

…In Gladstone, two city commission seats were on the ballot. David Olson (269) and , Matthew Gray (21) beat Steven Viau (18) for the seats.

…Incumbent Gladstone City Commissioners whose terms aren’t up were running for mayor. Darin Hunter (135) beat out Joseph Maki (75), Hugo Mattonen (71) and David Olson (38).

…On the Gladstone School Board, two seats were won by Richard Anderson (222) and Linda Howlett (245). Thomas Harrell had 142 votes. Lori Nelson had 192 votes.
