Baraga Co. Hazardous Waste Clean-up

The Keweenaw Bay Indian Community will hold a hazardous waste collection for Baraga County residents. The collection will take place on Saturday, October 1st from 10am till 2pm.

Household hazardous waste and electronic waste may be brought to the parking lot of the Ojibwa Casino. All items and containers must be labeled. Containers that are leaking or are in poor condition should be sealed in a clear plastic bag.

Do not mix chemicals, and do not transfer chemicals into containers with other labels. This is a household collection only – businesses, farms, governments or schools must get prior approval.
