Furniture shoppers will soon have a new option in Marquette County…but in a familiar location.
Household Appliance has purchased the American of Marquette building on U.S. 41. Not only will Household Appliance set up shop with 45,000 square feet of furniture and 7,000 square feet of appliances, but the business will expand.
Steve Anderson and Jeff Palomaki of Household Appliance say they’ll partner with Art Van Furniture as a franchisee.
Anderson and Palomaki are second generation appliance retailers, and say the new partnership will offer customers many advantages in buying power, quality, selection and availability. And, they promise to continue on the long-standing ‘service after the sale’ the store has always promoted.
“To remain vital in our business, you must continually be looking for ways to give our customers what they are asking for. Teaming up with Art Van who is the Mid–West,s largest furniture retailer… it is going to be exciting for the area,” Anderson says.
Household Appliance will liquidate the entire inventory of furniture and bedding at the current location on U.S. 41 in Marquette.
