Armed/dangerous suspect in custody

After a manhunt that started Friday, Todd Raymond Mills is lodged in the Marquette County Jail. Details of the capture of the man police considered armed and dangerous have not yet been released. Police tell ABC 10 that Mills was walking down First Street in Ishpeming when he was arrested.  Mills gave himself up, and did not hurt an officer or anyone involved.

The Ishpeming City Police are continuing an active search for a man they believe to be armed and dangerous.

Since Friday, police have been looking for a man named Todd Raymond Mills. He also goes by the name Todd Raymond Wentworth. Mills is wanted for operating and maintaining a meth lab, and conspiracy to operate a meth lab.

Ishpeming City Police say Mills is very dangerous. They say Mills knows he’s wanted by police. He threatened to commit suicide by having a police officer kill him, and wanted to hurt people.

Mills is 31 years old, is 6’3” and weights 275 lbs. His last known address is 510 North Maple Street in Ishpeming.

Ishpeming City Police say they surrounded Mills’ residence earlier Friday afternoon, but he was not there.
