Arby’s Robbery Arraignment

A Kalamazoo man is charged with unarmed robbery coming out of the Arby’s in Escanaba.

48-year-old Mark Wilson has a preliminary exam set for February 19th.

He’s in the Delta County Jail on $150,000 bond.

It happened at about about 6:30 Wednesday night.

Escanaba Public Safety accuses Wilson handing a note to an employee, implying that he was armed.

The robber was not armed, and no money changed hands.

When officers arrived, the Arby’s employees got out of the building through a back door.

No customers were inside at the time, and no one was hurt.

Wilson was staying in a local motel.

Public safety officers say they found evidence of the robbery in his room.
