Another Hit & Run investigated in Delta County

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit and run incident that occurred the afternoon of Friday, October 19.

The suspect vehicle struck a crossing light owned by CN Railroad on I road, just north of U.S. 2 & 41. Witnesses say the vehicle took off.

The suspect vehicle is described as a black Chevy Z-71 pick-up truck.  The driver is described as an older man.  The vehicle should have damage to the front end and may have something hanging from it.

In another hit and run accident, Gladstone Public Safety is looking for a suspect.  That incident happened on the South 9th St. alley south of Delta Avenue behind Main Street Pizza Sunday at about 5:40 p.m..

Police say a 78–year old Gladstone woman was traveling south on 9th when a tan or pewter colored Chevy Blazer 4–door hit her vehicle.  The driver of the Chevy blazer backed up and took off towards S. 8th St.

Police say the Blazer should have damage to its front end.  The male driver was said to have a mustache and was wearing a leather style biker type hat.
