All-Navy wrestling team in Marquette
The All-Navy wrestling team has been breaking quite a sweat in Marquette for the past week.
Every year, Navy Sports sponsors a high-level wrestling team to compete at a higher level and get to the World Championships and Olympics.
Rob Herman, who coached the All-Navy team for 15 years, brought the team to the Marquette area and holds practices every year.
The Navy team practices twice a day to train for upcoming wrestling events, and it’s training for two upcoming major competitions.
The Armed Forces Championship will start on March 15th, and then the team will be competing at the U.S. Open on April 17th through the 19th.
