Adopt a pet on Fox Motors this Thursday
NEGANUEE– If you’re looking for your new best friend or furry companion, there is an event this week you won’t want to miss.
The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter is holding its ‘Find a Friend with Fox’ event this Thursday from 3 to 7 P.M. at Fox Motors in Negaunee. Fox Motors will be hosting many potential pets during the event in addition to paying all adoption fees.
Ann Brownell is the Community Outreach Coordinator for UPAWS and she says they appreciate the support from the community.
“Oh it’s wonderful, FOX is just a wonderful supporter of UPAWS,” Brownell said. Brownell also said that ‘Find a Friend’ had happened before and they were able to find loving homes for many animals.
The UPAWS website has the selection of pets available for adoption this Thursday. Some will be offsite in foster care or at a shelter. So if your ideal pet isn’t at Fox, you can grab an ‘adoption voucher’ and pick them up later. Standard adoption policies will still apply.
