KINGSFORD — One man was taken to the hospital Monday night after he accidentally shot himself.
Officers from Kingsford Public Safety were dispatched to a residence around 6:15 p.m. The man, who has not been identified, told police that he shot himself with a 22 caliber rifle.
The man suffered a gunshot wound to the left shoulder area. He was taken to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.
The man’s condition is unknown at this time and the investigation is on-going.
