NEGAUNEE — A car accident involving two cars and a snowplow sent one person to the hospital early this morning.
A little after 6:00 a.m., troopers from the Michigan State Police – Negaunee Post responded to a two vehicle accident at US–41 and M–35 in Negaunee.
When they arrived on scene troopers found that the accident involved a jeep, a sedan and another rather large vehicle – a snow plow. The trooper on the scene said that some of the details are still being investigated, but it is known that the sedan and the Jeep were driving east bound on US–41 when one of the vehicles collided with the snow plow that was attempting to turn and head west.
The trooper said something from the initial collision flew and hit the windshield of the other vehicle. One person was injured in the accident and was transported to UP–Health Systems – Marquette for treatment.
