Accident on U.S. 41 near Marquette
At least one person was hurt in a traffic crash on U.S.41 in Marquette Township this afternoon. It happened shortly before 1:30 p.m. on the eastbound side of the highway, in front of 41 Lumber.
Three vehicles were involved. The woman driving the Jeep Grand Cherokee was taken to Marquette General Hospital in an ambulance. The woman driving the silver Pontiac drove herself to the hospital as a precaution. The man driving the GMC Acadia did not report any injuries.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department, the Marquette Township Fire Department and Medi–ride EMS responded.
An investigation into fault is ongoing.
