Accident in Iron Mountain

One person was ticketed following a three–vehicle accident in Iron Mountain.

The Iron Mountain Police Department says it happened at the intersection of Carpenter Avenue and West ‘B’ Street shortly before 4:30 p.m. Central time Wednesday.

A 48–year–old Niagara, Wisconsin man was driving south on Carpenter Avenue in a pickup truck when he ran a red light.

As he entered the intersection, a car driven by a 20–year–old Norway woman hit his truck.

The pickup spun into a third vehicle, driven by a 43–year–old Iron Mountain woman, which was stopped on Carpenter Avenue for the red light.

No one was hurt, but all three vehicles were towed from the scene.
