A windy day in the U.P.

The sun was out, but it felt cold across most of Upper Michigan today…as blustery winds put a serious chill in the air.

Much of the eastern and central Upper Peninsula was under a wind advisory.  Gusts were reported as strong as 50 miles per hour in Newberry.  Winds were recorded between 14 and 30 miles per hour.  In Marquette County, gusts reached as high as 36 miles per hour.
