A Possible Break in Attempted ATM Theft Case

ABC 10’s Keweenaw Bureau Reporter Rick Allen reports that Michigan State Police from the Calumet Post may have a man in custody in connection to the October 4th attempt of two men trying to break into a bank ATM.

It happened at the Miner’s State Bank on Tri-Mountain Avenue in South Range in the early morning hours. Both of the suspects appear to be about 5’10” tall. One of the men was wearing a dark–colored windbreaker with a 4–inch–wide stripe across the chest. The other was wearing a heavyweight black sweatshirt with a zipper.

The men are believed to have used a cordless drill. If you have information about the attempted break–in, call the Michigan State Police at the Calumet Post at 906-337-5145. You can remain anonymous.
