Big announcement coming regarding Mr. U.P. show

NEGAUNEE — Some time ago, the current Miss Upper Peninsula pageant winner, Eliisa Gladwell had an idea: Why not have a Miss Upper Peninsula for men? That’s where Mr. Upper Peninsula started; and in July, it enters its second year.

The upcoming show takes place July 8th at the Vista Theater in Negaunee. And the Executive Director of the Vista Theater Pack, Andrew “Bear” Tyler says there’s a huge announcement coming regarding the show.

“We have our host set, we have our judges set, and right now we’re just looking for those ten guys that are really going to make the show,” explained Tyler, “We’re about to have a big announcement next Monday about what’s going to happen during the show. So we’re really excited about that, as well. But I can’t give you anymore hints than that.”

The announcement will be made next Monday morning.
