DELTA COUNTY — One person suffered serious injuries after a crash on an ORV trail in Delta County Monday evening.

Deputies from the Delta County Sheriff’s Office say the incident happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. on the Felch Grade ORV trail.
Three people were headed eastbound in a side–by–side when they hit a rough spot, causing them to lose control.

The vehicle left the trail and struck some trees. Police say a female passenger was not wearing a safety belt and was ejected from the side–by–side.

She was airlifted to UP Health System – Marquette. The driver was transported to OSF St. Francis hospital where he was treated and released.

He is lodged at the Delta County Correctional Facility on unrelated charges.
