Air search underway for missing man
MARQUETTE — More information about a man who went missing in L’Anse last month has come forward.
Michigan State Police from the Calumet post say Joseph Waisanen’s truck was found in the Huron Mountains near Forty-Foot Falls in Marquette on Sunday. Michigan State Police aviation from Lansing is currently searching the area while the 2-day ground search continues.
Waisanen was last seen on Sunday, March 20th on Baraga Avenue in L’Anse around 10:30 A-M. He is 6’6″ tall, two-hundred and 240 pounds with short red hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information on Waisanen’s whereabouts is encouraged to call 9-1-1.
