MANISTIQUE — The sentencing of a man originally charged with three counts of open murder has had his sentencing date pushed back for a second time.
46-year-old Kenneth Brunke was set to be sentenced on Thursday, but that date has been pushed back until next month. The Schoolcraft County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office confirmed that information with ABC 10 Tuesday afternoon.
Brunke was arrested last April, after police discovered the bodies of three people in a burnt up vehicle in Doyle Township. Brunke, who entered a plea agreement in November, is now scheduled to be sentenced on February 18th.
