Traffic signal back up and running

GLADSTONE — A traffic signal that was damaged during an accident over the weekend is now back in service.

The Michigan Department of Transportation finished fixing the control box and power feed for the signal early Tuesday morning. The signal, located at the intersection of South Hill Road and US-2 and US-41 in Gladstone, was rendered inoperable after a two-car accident Sunday morning severely damaged several parts.

MDOT officials say they have to make just a few minor adjustments to the light before they wrap up the project.
